We recently got married at The Majestic Hotel and I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful venue.
A special shoutout to Lucy Bennett, the wedding coordinator, who truly went above and beyond. On what turned out to be a difficult day due to unexpected family news, Lucy worked quickly and calmly to ensure everything ran smoothly. Her professionalism and compassion made a world of difference. She is a real asset to the hotel. Myself and Adam really can’t say enough how grateful we are for everything Lucy did to make our day one we will never forget – we couldn’t have asked for a better person to co-ordinate our wedding day.
The food was also delightful – each dish was beautifully presented and delicious. Our guests could not stop raving about the buffet!

It ticked so many boxes and allowed us to tailor our wedding to suit us. We would highly recommend it as the venue for anyone’s big day
We had our wedding breakfast and evening reception at the Harrogate Majestic Hotel on Friday, 16th August 2024.
Firstly, the venue is beautiful. The location in the centre of Harrogate is fantastic, and as we had family and friends travelling long distances for the wedding, the ability for guests to stay at the hotel (at discounted rates) was a massive plus for us. The hotel is also dog friendly which allowed us to have our four legged family member with us to celebrate the day.
The hotel offers bespoke wedding packages that could be completely tailored to suit our requirements. This includes choosing different rooms for each part of the day, from drinks reception, wedding breakfast, right through to the evening reception. And the choices didn’t end there, we could adapt our wedding from the food and drink on offer for guests, chairs and seating, and room layout.
No request we had was too big or small for them. The hotel allowed us to choose our decor, entertainment, and timing of every part of the day. Everything we asked for was catered to.
We would like to thank Lucy, the hotel’s in house wedding coordinator, for being on hand to help us with all of this and answering endless questions for us! Thank you Lucy!
On the wedding day itself, the staff at the hotel were excellent. From laying out rooms and tables as we requested, to catering for guests. We cannot thank the entire team enough for the care and hospitality shown to all of our wedding party.

Where do we start with our thanks to Lucy, the staff & the hotel itself for making our wedding day the very best celebration we could have asked for?
We chose the Majestic as our wedding venue a year before the event. We’d done the rounds of a number of local hotels over a period of a few weeks; some good and some less so, but hadn’t found that special place that ticked all our boxes. The Majestic was our last consideration and then it would be decision time. From the moment we met Lucy and were shown all the facilities the hotel had to offer, the decision was instant. Elegant and opulent but not too stuffy if that makes sense. As we walked down the front steps and back to the car after that first meeting, we both looked at each other and said “that’s the one”.
Lucy made all the planning so easy & enjoyable and always made us feel very special on our various visits, never more so than when we came with members of our wedding party in the weeks beforehand to show them our chosen venue. When we came for our canape and menu tasting sessions nothing was too much trouble and we were able to choose a wedding breakfast that received great accolades on the day. The staff on hand on the day were incredibly attentive and efficient.
Choosing the top Queen Victoria package was the best decision we made as it took so much stress away from us in the lead up to the wedding. The table plans & cards were perfect, the disco was brilliant and had guests on the dance floor all night and the photo booth was great fun. Having the bridal suite for the night was a lovely treat and it’s nice to know that we have that to look forward to again on our first anniversary.
It was a day filled with love, laughter and a few ‘happy’ tears.
We were fortunate to win a competition at our local wedding fayre which gave us £1,000 off the Majestic Hotel. The wedding coordinator Lucy was amazing at knowing what we wanted and making it all happen. Everything ran so smoothly on the day.
We have visited The Majestic numerous times as a couple and always enjoyed our stay.
In September we held our wedding reception here and have nothing to fault about the service or the venue.
We were met with such friendly staff here but more importantly we liaised through Lucy Bennett for all of our wedding enquiries.
I recently celebrated my wedding at The Majestic. We did it over a few days. My first celebration was the hen do that I had in the spa, we all had an amazing time and had the best massages from the therapists. The afternoon tea was also amazing and we had great service from the reception team.
We recently had our Wedding at this hotel which was managed by the event coordinator Lucy from start to finish. She was absolutely amazing and made the day perfect, I can’t compliment Lucy, all the staff and the hotel enough for making our day so special.
