Overall, I highly recommend The Majestic for any event.

We recently got married at The Majestic Hotel and I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful venue.

A special shoutout to Lucy Bennett, the wedding coordinator, who truly went above and beyond. On what turned out to be a difficult day due to unexpected family news, Lucy worked quickly and calmly to ensure everything ran smoothly. Her professionalism and compassion made a world of difference. She is a real asset to the hotel. Myself and Adam really can’t say enough how grateful we are for everything Lucy did to make our day one we will never forget – we couldn’t have asked for a better person to co-ordinate our wedding day.

The food was also delightful – each dish was beautifully presented and delicious. Our guests could not stop raving about the buffet!

Where do we start with our thanks to Lucy, the staff & the hotel itself for making our wedding day the very best celebration we could have asked for?

We chose the Majestic as our wedding venue a year before the event. We’d done the rounds of a number of local hotels over a period of a few weeks; some good and some less so, but hadn’t found that special place that ticked all our boxes. The Majestic was our last consideration and then it would be decision time. From the moment we met Lucy and were shown all the facilities the hotel had to offer, the decision was instant. Elegant and opulent but not too stuffy if that makes sense.  As we walked down the front steps and back to the car after that first meeting, we both looked at each other and said “that’s the one”.

Lucy made all the planning so easy & enjoyable and always made us feel very special on our various visits, never more so than when we came with members of our wedding party in the weeks beforehand to show them our chosen venue.  When we came for our canape and menu tasting sessions nothing was too much trouble and we were able to choose a wedding breakfast that received great accolades on the day. The staff on hand on the day were incredibly attentive and efficient.
